How to be Persistent
How to be persistent without being pushy?
Have you ever been approached by a network marketer that just won't take "no" for an answer? They just keep pestering you, right? They have not learned how to be persistent and what that means. How did you feel about the approach, about the company, and even about the marketer?
As network marketers, we need to be persistent in our process of finding potential clients and not be over persistent or over-bearing. Don't turn them off to what you are offering. If you have to persuade them against their will to buy your product or to join your opportunity, they will not stay a customer for long, and if they join your business, they will not be productive.
If you do not jeopardize the relationship, there is a chance that the person may come back to you years down the road and ask if you are still selling your product. At that time, they may be ready. But if you have turned them off your product or opportunity at the beginning, they probably will not come back to you. If anything, they will go to someone else.
I have had people come back to me several years later and ask if I was still selling my product. So I know from experience that it works.
Be persistent in the process of finding customers; don't be too persistent in trying to get a particular person interested in what you have to offer, particularly if there is no interest.
Fall in love with the process of finding customers. Don't think one particular person is going to make or break your opportunity or business.
