As network marketers, we have an extraordinary ability. Or at least we should be working on that ability. That ability is the ability to see into the future.
How can we see into the future? That just sounds really strange! But it really is true!
How We Can Have The Ability to See Into the Future
When you were first introduced to your business, someone talked to you and gave you a vision of what COULD be. That could be increasing your lifestyle, or having all the time and money that you are willing to work for. Someone painted a fantastic vision for you.
At the time, you bought into that vision. You saw that vision and you actually saw the future. When you started, you didn't have any of that. You didn't have an organization of hundreds or thousands of team members. You had only yourself and maybe a few others in your organization.
Maybe you had the ability to see into the future enough that you could see that maybe you might have five or ten people in your business. But you WERE seeing into the future.
When you get to that point in your business, then maybe you could see a little bit further into the future. Maybe you could see 100 or 150 team members in your business. You have the ability to see future events.
You are turning into something that you never ever thought that you would be. But when you started on that first day of your business, you were probably thinking in the back of your mind "What if? What if I really could do this? What if this really could be my future?"
So, as network marketers, we have the ability to see into the future. We see what is not yet there. That is what seeing into the future is. We see what is not quite there yet.
We want to build a business to a level that we desire but it is not quite there yet. But we can see it! We can see it in our mind's eye.
Then we turn around and we share that vision with other people. We try to get them to see THEIR future. We try to get them to see what is not quite there yet for them. But it could be if they just take that first step.
See the future. See what is not quite there yet, and begin working toward it. And you will become a fortune teller.
And then help others to also see what is not there yet. Help them to see the future.

Are you using the phrase "JOB stands for 'just over broke'" in your conversations with other networkers or with your prospects? The next question is "are you striving to become a professional network marketer?"
If you ARE trying to be a professional network marketer, then pull your chair in close and listen up!
The Phrase JOB Stands for Just Over Broke Needs to Disappear!
JOB is a derogatory term that has been around in network marketing for a long time. JOB is an acronym for Just Over Broke. It is meant to describe those who are employed by an employer, and the insinuation is that someone who has a job will never make any money. It is used to ridicule those who aren't involved with network marketing.
If someone doesn't see the vision of network marketing as we see it, we too often use the term JOB to put them down. Perhaps it is to make us feel better about ourselves and the vocation we have chosen.
If you are using that term JOB stands for Just Over Broke in your conversations with other network marketers or in your presentations to prospective team members, STOP IT!
It doesn't serve us or the profession of network marketing to use the term JOB. The goal in network marketing is to build relationships. We want to build relationships, not ditches.
The opposite of building bridges or relationships is building ditches or walls. We don't want to do anything that destroys those relationships.
We want to present ourselves as being professional. We don't present ourselves as being professional when we mock people or make fun of them when they don't agree with our opinion.
The reality is that we need people in our world to have jobs. We need people who are employed to work in our stores, to provide our yard services, to fix our cars, and to provide numerous services for us.
It is true that I try to help people see that there are other options for them in addition to the tradional job. Sometimes people see regular employment as their only option, and I want them to see that there are alternatives to being employed by an employer.
But the ONE thing that we don't want to do is to give them the idea that if they don't persue network marketing, then they are losers. We also need to get rid of that term "losers" in network marketing. There are no "losers."
People who have jobs are providing for their families. They are providing needed services that benefit us all. They are providing services to us, and we should not be putting them down because they don't have the vision of network marketing.
Network marketing is an option for people, but it is not THE ONLY option available. Network marketers do not need to feel superior to others just because they have found that network marketing is the best option for them.
So, if you are using the phrase JOB Stands For Just Over Broke, please don't do it any more! Let's raise the profession of network marketing to a professional level. We want to be PROFESSIONAL network marketers. We want to be relationship builders, not relationship destroyers.
We do that by respecting the decisions and careers of the people around us and not by criticizing the decisions and opinions of others.

Obstacles and challenges will always be present in your network marketing business. As a network marketer, I am going to bet that there is something about your business that if you were to do more of it, or even do it at all, it would raise your business to the next level. But for whatever reason you don't do it, or you don't do enough of it, or you don't like to do it. So you don't do it.
Even old time network marketers probably have things in their businesses that they could improve upon, but they don't because there are obstacles and challenges that make them feel unconfortable.
How Conquering Obstacles and Challenges Changed Jeremy's Business
I would like to tell you a story about a very successful network marketer by the name of Jeremy Stansfield and how he was able to conquer one of his obstacles and challenges. In a interview, he related how an experience helped him to overcome a challenge that kept him from being as successful as he would like to have been.
Jeremy is a former carpet installer who was injured while he was installing carpet. He knew that his ability to bring in an income depended on him being physicaly able to work.
Eventually Jeremy was introduced to a network marketing company, and he decided to work with that company to build a business that would enable him to have an income even though he was injured.
Jeremy is a very personable guy and was able to build a team of a number of associates. Much of his recruiting was done face-to-face or belly-to-belly, as they say. He was very good at talking with people and being able to relate with them.
One of his particular obstacles and challenges was talking to large groups of people, a common problem for a lot of us. Public speaking was not one of his better tools at the time. But because of his success, he was invited to be one of the speakers at a large event, and he accepted the offer.
There were a large number of his team members at the event, and there were a large number of other associates from other downlines also in attendance.
So here is what happened:
He came out on stage. The spotlights were focused on him. He saw the huge crowd gathered in front of him.
He opened his mouth to speak. Nothing came out of his mouth. He froze. The crowd waited in anticipation.
He turned around and walked off stage.
As he was walking backstage, he had a decision to make. A huge crowd of people had just seen him fail. His own team members had just seen him fail in front of a large crowd.
What was he going to say to them when he walked back into the audience and rejoined his team?
At that moment, he had a life-changing decision to make. It would have been a great time to quit. He had to decide if this experience was his quitting point.......or if he was going to make this a turning point.
He told the event organizers to give him another chance. He convinced them to book him as a speaker at the next event.
Today Jeremy Stansfield is an icon in his network marketing company. He consistently stays at the top of the rankings for income earners. AND he speaks often at large live events and conventions!
Jeremy took a weakness and turned it into a strength. His new strength increased his business multiple times.
There are going to be some things in YOUR business that currently you are not very good at, whether that be speaking to people, making presentations, creating videos of yourself, prospecting, or asking for the close. There will be some things that you are just not very good at, and that you just don't want to do.
You will have your own unique obstacles and challenges. The way around those obstacles is to confront them head on. Just begin doing the things that make you uncomfortable. Overcoming the obstacles and challenges will make you a better network marketer.
Of course, you will be bad at the beginning, but the more that you do those unconfortable actions, the better you will get at doing them. The time will come when other people will think that you have always been a natural speaker, video-maker, presenter, or whatever you struggle with doing right now.
Just man up and do it! Just start taking action, no matter how bad you think you are. Give it some time, and you will be surprised at what you will be able to accomplish!

Having a belief system consisting of empowering beliefs is a major factor into whether you will succeed or fail in your network marketing profession. There are many things that will determine your success, but if you don't have some fundamental beliefs, you will surely struggle with your network marketing business.
A Belief System Needs to Contain the Four Fundamental Beliefs
A strong belief in your company is the first belief that you must have. Whichever company you represent, you need to have a strong belief in that company. You need to believe strongly that your company is a good one, that it is ethical, that is legitimate, and you need to believe that it is going to be there when you need it.
If you don't have a solid belief in your company, you are going to have nagging doubt in your mind whenever you try to present your company to a prospect. It will hinder your ability to effectively communicate the reason why your prospect should consider your company. That doubt will also hinder you from doing the work necessary for you to build your business.
The second belief that you need to have in a belief system is a belief in the product. If you don't have a belief in your product, your result will be the same as not having a belief in your company. For example, if your product is a weight-loss product, and you don't have a strong belief that your product will work; you will find very little success in promoting that product. Your unbelief will be evident to your prospects, and they will no incentive to buy from you.
There is another important reason to have a strong fundamental belief in your company and in your product. When you come to a time in your business when you are feeling down and discouraged (and you WILL have those times!) and you don't have a strong enough belief in your company or product, you will not put forth the effort that is needed to survive the down time. At those times when you are tired and discouraged and you are questioning why you ever began a business, you will be tempted to quit. Not having a belief system will only multiply the temptation to quit.
An essential third belief in a belief system for network marketing is a belief in the network marketing industry as a whole. If you don't have a belief in the network marketing industry, your chances for success are very small.
When you are giving someone your presentation, and they ask you if this is network marketing; and you hestitate or if you fear that question or if you hedge your answer, they are going to feel that and wonder about the depth of your conviction for the network marketing industry.
You have got to have a belief in the network marketing profession! The first person that mocks you for being a network marketer is going to destroy your self-confidence and you will wilt right before their eyes!
You have got to have that strong belief in the network marketing profession or you are going to struggle.
The fourth crucial, fundamental empowering belief for your belief system is a belief in yourself. You can have a belief in your company, and in your product, and in the network marketing profession as a whole. But if you don't have a strong belief in yourself, none of those other beliefs matter. If you don't believe that YOU personally can succeed in your business, you will struggle tremendously!
You can do your business! I believe that almost everybody CAN do network marketing. The question is WILL they do network marketing? Some people are not willing to put forth the effort or to do what it takes to succeed in network marketing. They are not willing to put in the time to learn how to do network marketing or to learn how to develop a belief system.
How do you get an empowering belief in your company, in your products, in the network marketing profession, and in yourself? You get those beliefs by personal development. You get it by reading the books, by listening to the CDs and audio files. You get it by attending webinars and watching the videos, and by just spending some time just working on yourself and developing those beliefs.
Read the magazines and other literature that are available through your company.
Live Events and Conventions Will Help Build a Belief System
Attend the live events and conventions that your company provide. Your company's conventions will help build belief in all four of those areas where you need a solid belief. They will build your belief in the company and in the products by way of the stories and testamonies that your leaders will share.
They will develop your belief in the network marketing profession as you listen and learn how others have overcome tremendous odds and conditions and have built very succcessful lives through network marketing.
Finally, conventions will, if you let them, help build faith and belief in yourself. You will receive the training and the motivation that will give you the knowledge to build your network marketing business. It is then just a matter of sitting down with yourself and figuring out not only that you can do this business but also deciding if you ARE you going to do this business!
If it is a matter of not knowing how or not having the skills to build a business, there are resources for skill-building all over the internet. You just need to seek them out and then implement what you have learned.
In summary.....the beliefs in a belief system.....belief in your company, in your products, in the network marketing model, and in yourself is a major factor in building a successful business.

Doing the small and simple things in your network marketing business can take your business to levels that you never dreamed about!
This last sunday I was sitting in a class at church where we were discussing several topics. One of the topics we were discussing caused me to think about something that is ofen over-looked.
The Small and Little Things Will Make a Huge Difference in Your Business
"By small and simple things, great things are brought to pass." Often times great things ARE brought to pass by the small and simple things that we do in our families, our faith, and even in our network marketing businesses.
Small things done consistently over a period of time add up to create significate results at the end of that period of time. They can make impossible things possible.
We didn't go to the moon in one big jump. The success we had at going to the moon was the result of many, many small steps. Even the beginning step of just figuring out how to escape the gravity of earth was composed of other small steps. For example, we had to figure out how the astranauats should be dressed and how would we provide for their safety.
It took many small steps to get to the point where we could eventually travel to the moon.
And get back.
Safely.
It is the same way with our network marketing business.
By the way, if learning how to market effectively online is one of those small but simple things you can do to increase your business, this might help:
There is a flip side to the concept of small and simple things that we can do to build our businesses. And that is that just as the small and simple things are easy to do, they are also easy NOT to do.
So if we neglect to do those small and simple things to build our business for a period of time, we find that we do not progress and instead we regress. We go backwards.
That happens far too frequently in our network marketing businesses. We decide that we are going to do some great thing or improve in some way. We do a few small things. When we wake up in the morning, it doesn't appear that anything has changed. Everything seems the same.
When that happens, it is easy to get discourged and even quit. So after six months we find that we are not any further along than when we started. In fact, we may even be farther behind than when we started.
If we do those small and simple things consistently even when it doesn't seem that we are making any progress, over time those actions will add up; and after a period of time of six months or a year, we can look back and see some significant progress, and we can feel good about that progress.
Small things can make a big difference. The small and simple things are easy to to. They are also easy NOT to do. We can consistently do those small little things and do great things, or we can choose not to do the small things and slowly slide backward in our pursuit of great things.
Do the small and simple things in order to do the great things!

If you take the action, you will make your learning more effective.
What do I mean by taking the action you will make learning more effective?
If you are a profession network marketer, I bet that you have already done your personal development for today. Isn't that what we as network marketers do? We believe in personal development.
We read books, we listen to podcasts and audio media, we watch videos and webinars, and we attend events. We are always learning, and that is what is needed if we want to become successful network marketers.
But sometimes we get all this learning in our head, and we don't do anything with it. We neglect to take the action.
Take the Action, Don't Keep All Your Learning in Your Head
My faith has a often-quoted saying, and it is "ever learning, but never come to a knowledge of the truth." We as network marketers tend to do that, especially if we have a little lack of self-confidence in ourselves. So we will take one more course, we will attend one more seminar, or we'll take a few more pages of notes. Then we forget to go out and take action on what we have just learned. We procrastinate and we don't do what we already know to do.
Learning is fine, and we need to do it; but learnining by itself will not create an income for you in network marketing. It's not going to grow your network, and it's not going to grow your business.
The key is to take the action. THAT is where you grow, and that is where you really do the learning.
As an aside, if you need a system for learning what to do and then be given the tools to implement what you have learned, this is what I use.
You may have had this experience when you first began your business. You really studied your business presentation and the compensation plan thoroughly. You thought you knew it really well. Then you got in front of your first prospect, and you froze up. Your mind went blank. And you realized that you did't actually know your presentation as well as you thought you did.
But the more you do that presentation, the better you get at doing it; and you actually learn and you begin to KNOW the presentation. It is the same thing with prospecting, recruiting, and asking for the sale. You can do it all you want in your head and know it very well in your head; but until you actually do it, you really don't learn it completely.
We need to be learning all the time, but we also need to take what we have learned and use it to get value out of it. Otherwise we are ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of it. We just don't progress as far as we can.
Once you have learned something, then go out and do the action. Action will cement the learning and also teach you things that you would have not learned otherwise. It bumps up the learning level tremendously.
Be learning. Be always learning. But at the same time, don't forget to take the action relative to what you have learned. Start small. Do baby steps. Start from where you are currently at, but begin to take action and use what you have learned. Take action now!
That is the way that successful businesses are built.

Reconnecting with old friends on Facebook is a powerful way to build your business online. You might have this long list of Facebook friends, and some of them you chat with quite frequently.
However, for many of them, you probably haven't talked with them for a very long time, and in some cases, maybe you haven't connected with them at all since they became your Facebook friends.
Steps to Reconnecting With Old Friends on Facebook
How do you go about connecting with friends on your Facebook friends list that you haven't talked to in a very long time?
How do you reconnect with friends on Facebook to share your business with them without making it seem awkward?
How do you make the transition with those people to where you can talk about where they are with their life? How do you go from not connecting with them at all to effortlessly offering them either your network marketing business or the training to do online marketing?
Here are a couple of things that you can do to make connecting with old friends easier. The first thing that you can do to connect with friends that you haven't talked to for a long time is just to contact them!
Be honest! Tell them how stupid you were for not staying in touch with them and that you would really like to connect with them now!
Start talking to them about the things that they talk about on their Facebook page. Those topics are probably important to them. Ask them questions about those topics.
For example, if you see that he is into real estate, you can ask him about his real estate experience. Ask him questions and perhaps a conversation might develop.
Then you can ask him how long he has been in real estate and if he enjoys it. Just go with the conversation flow. Make it a conversation.
This process can easily take several days or weeks. You don't have to do this all in one conversation!
At some point, ask him if he had ever considered doing something other than real estate. Listen to his answer, and you will begin to see if he has a need or desire that you might be able to suggest a solution. You can find out if they are satisfied with where their vocation choice has led them and if they are happy with where they are at at this point in their life.
In this way, you can determine their motivation or desire for doing something different. You can then make the choice of whether you want to offer them your help, or to just continue the conversation and to just be friends.
If there is a possibility that they might be a good fit with you as a business partner, then you could say something like "You know, I don't know if this would be a good fit for you, but I thought I would throw it out there to see what you think. If it is something that might work for you, then we can talk."
You don't want to be forceful or "hit them over the head" with your offer. You don't want to be cramming your business down anybody's throat. You only pursue it if the other person thinks it might be a good fit.
And the only way you will know if it is a good fit for them is to start up a conversation and to ask them!
If you engage in conversation with them and find a need, then you can offer your solution. If you don't find a need, then don't offer your solution.
To summarize: Reconnecting with old friends can be an excellent way to expand your business
Start talking to those friends on your Facebook friends list that you haven't talked to much at all. Apologize for not staying connected to them, and just start a conversation.
Many of them will respond, and then you can begin to ask them questions about how they are doing and how their profession is doing. Ask them if they are happy with whatever they are doing and whether they would be open to looking at something different.
Depending on their answers to those questions, you can decide that you want to offer them a chance to look at what you have to offer, or you can decide not to mention anything at all about your opportunity.
I hope you got value from my thoughts and if you did, I would appreciate comments, likes, and shares on the buttons down below.
Learning how to repurpose content can save you a lot of time and effort in your online marketing. For example, you can post a video on Facebook and reuse that same video for Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Blogger, Pinterest and other social media.
This method is the method that I use. Of course there are other ways, but this is the way that I learned how to repurpose content by using videos posted on Facebook in my other social media marketing.
I have invested in training on how to properly do online marketing, and I have only scratched the surface of what is available. If you are interested in the online training system that I use, you can find that here.
How to Repurpose Content in Your Social Media Marketing
First, of course, you need to create the video. Most people have a cell phone that has video capabilities. You can really use very simple equipment to post a video to Facebook, for example. I actually just use an iPad. The iPad with an external mic and the internet is all that I use for my online videos.
Once you have decided your topic, you just pull out your cellphone and hit the "record" button and start talking. I do all my videos unscripted and unrehearsed. If the recording is really bad, I just delete it and start over.
Here is my process for repurposing content for social media. Record the video. Once the video is recorded, my iPad gives me the option to send it somewhere, such as Facebook, OneNote, Evernote, Gmail, etc. I actually send mine to Google Drive, which is an online storage site. I send it to Google Drive just to get it off of my iPad to save some storage space and also to get my video somewhere where I can access it from anywhere.
From Google Drive I download it back to my laptop and store it as an mp4.file on my computer. That gives me a local copy that I can work with and to also have backed up on my Carbonite account, which is an online backup and storage site.
Once I have that file on my computer, I upload the video file directly to Facebook. Facebook likes videos that are upload directed to it as opposed to videos that come from YouTube, for example.
Next I start playing my video file and I transcribe the video to text, using Notepad on my laptop. You can hire someone to do this for you, or there are websites that will also do it for you if you upload your video to them.
I hit "play" and let it play for a few seconds, and then I pause it and write down what I had just heard. I do that for the whole video, and I end up with a complete transcript of my video, which I will use later for my blog.
Once that is done, I upload my video file from my computer to YouTube. When your video has been uploaded and is being processed, YouTube will give you the option to share that video at that time to other social media sites for which you have accounts.
Facebook is one of those options, but since I have already uploaded my video to Facebook, I skip that option.
I also share the video on my Twitter and LinkedIn accounts with just a punch of a button.
Now I take my transciption of my video and start doing some keyword research for the main topics of my video. Once I have selected some appropriate keywords, I tweak and rewrite my transciption to effectively use those keywords to make it search engine friendly.
